USO San Diego Hosts Military Families with 3rd Annual Military Heroes Festival

WHAT:
USO San Diego supports hundreds of thousands of military service members and their families stationed, training and traveling through San Diego. The dedication to honor and serve military families will continue with this year’s 3rd Annual Military Heroes Festival as it returns to an in-person celebration on Saturday, August 21 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Liberty Station.
Event highlights include providing military children and families with free backpacks, groceries, clothing, treats, giveaways, resources, entertainment, and appearances by superheroes, as well as the San Diego Padres Friar, Pad Squad and CEO Erik Greupner. The 3rd Annual Military Heroes Festival will be held in partnership with Liberty Station Association and the Rock Church. Over 2,000 attendees are expected at the sold out event, as military families prepare for back to school and recognition of our heroes. US Bank has provided vital sponsorship support for the event and will join the USO with a team of volunteers.
