New Monument Honoring the F-14 Tomcat coming to San Diego
The F-14 Tomcat ranks as one of the most famous military fighters in the world. The aircraft was made famous throughout the world during major news events in the 1980s, it became iconic in the Hollywood film, TOP GUN — the highest-grossing film in 1986.
Award winning Director Mark “Viz” Vizcarra of Speed and Angels Productions flew the F-14 Tomcat and is supporting the effort in his newly released documentary, Tomcat Tales – www.F14TOMCATS.com
